This year’s Streetfootballworld Festival was held in Lyon, as an accompanying event for the 2019 Women’s World Cup, with 48 delegations from 35 countries, including players and young leaders from our association.The event will bring together disadvantaged young people from across the globe to champion football’s unique power in advancing our push towards achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. In addition to the championship, it was replaced by a number of exciting accompanying programs: each nationality presented its own culture, attended workshops and lectures on various topics, and attended one of the semi-finals of the Women’s World Cup.
