VAR 4 Fair Play<\/strong>

\nVAR 4 Fair Play is an Erasmus+ project implemented through a V4 partnership, utilizing innovative methods to modernize the concepts of fair play and football3. The program aims to make fair play and football3 attractive to players while placing inclusion, mutual respect, and cooperation at the heart of the learning process. Participants collaboratively develop their skills in the spirit of fair play and social solidarity.<\/p>\n

Second Chances<\/strong>
\n2025.01.01 \u2013 2025.12.31 In 2025, for the sixth time, our work will be supported by the UEFA Foundation for Children, celebrating its 10th anniversary. This support enables us to continue our nearly two decades of work in social integration and skills development. Alongside regular training and social work, we organize fair play football championships and participate in international tournaments. The program also emphasizes preventing early pregnancy, reducing racist behavior, and developing digital skills.<\/p>\n

Football for Unity 2.0 \u2013 Team Up for Solidarity (AMIF)<\/strong>
\n2023.09.01 \u2013 2025.08.31 This 24\u2011month program supports the social integration of refugees from Ukraine and young people from third countries through sport\u2011based activities (regular football training, Fair Play Football Roadshow, domestic and international championships, summer and training camps) combined with social work. The program is funded by the European Commission\u2019s AMIF fund and coordinated by the UEFA Foundation for Children and Common Goal.<\/p>\n

PAdel Integration and DIGITAL Empowerment for NGO Advancement<\/strong>
\n2024.09.01 \u2013 2025.08.31 As part of the Erasmus+ Mobility for Sports Professionals program, two young participants will take part in a 60\u2011day study visit in Saron, Spain. The aim is for Hungarian participants to learn about the environmental impact of different sports activities, discover new digital techniques, and explore methods to increase environmental awareness. The host organization in Spain is Permacultura Cantabria.<\/p>\n

YETS \u2013 Youth Empowerment Through Sport (Erasmus)<\/b> Duration: 2024.01.01 \u2013 2025.06.30<\/span><\/i> Within the framework of a newly established cooperation with Heron Scsd, coaches and staff from the Italian organization visited our association to learn about sport\u2011based methods successfully applied in the social integration of disadvantaged groups, with particular attention to refugees. The project was implemented under the Erasmus+ program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond the Pitch \u2013 BtP (Erasmus Sport)<\/b> Duration: 2023.11.01 \u2013 2025.06.30<\/span><\/i> Since 2015, the number of communities forced to leave their homes and seek protection has significantly increased. Upon arriving in Europe, these communities faced new challenges such as lack of integration opportunities, isolation, loneliness, anxiety, and post\u2011traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). For those in such situations, sport can greatly contribute to successful integration into host communities and foster a sense of belonging, which has been shown to reduce stress and increase satisfaction and well\u2011being.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our latest Erasmus+ project, \u201cBeyond the Pitch,\u201d aims to develop a transnational toolkit offering sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by displaced communities. The project is carried out in partnership with Lighthouse Relief AMKE (Greece) and Sport for All Suceava (Romania).<\/span><\/p>\n

Progression Pathways in Social Sports \u2013 PPSS (Erasmus Sport)<\/b> Duration: 2024.01.01 \u2013 2025.05.30<\/span><\/i> We strongly believe in the value of sport and physical activity for everyone, including socially excluded groups. We aim to inspire marginalized communities \u2013 such as homeless people, refugees, teenage mothers, and those struggling with addiction \u2013 by offering them a positive, forward\u2011looking future.<\/span><\/p>\n

The PPSS project takes the next step toward making Europe more inclusive: a better place for living, exercising, and working. Over two and a half years, sports professionals are trained to become tutors. As educators, they will be able to create new \u201cprogression pathways\u201d for socially excluded people, sharing responsibility with participants and training them to become social sports coaches. Through voluntary work, they can develop themselves and take a more active role in society \u2013 a classic trainer model applied to an unexplored field.<\/span><\/p>\n

GAIA Project<\/b> Environmental issues are a global concern, affecting everyone\u2019s daily lives \u2013 and sport is no exception. Whether recreational physical activity or high\u2011level competition, sport is a central element of society.<\/span><\/p>\n

The GAIA project aims to raise awareness and promote the use of sustainability measures. Sport offers wide opportunities to foster environmental awareness, capacity building, and far\u2011reaching measures for environmental, social, and economic development across society.<\/span><\/p>\n

The research results will serve as the basis for developing a curriculum on sustainability and good governance, designed to assess the competencies needed by sports organization leaders, coaches, athletes, and volunteers.<\/span><\/p>\n

NEMECSEK Sport Program<\/b> In 2021, the Hintalovon Foundation, together with the Equality Committee of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, launched a child protection program in sport under the name NEMECSEK Sport. We were honored to be invited to join the NEMECSEK Sport Advisory Board.<\/span><\/p>\n

The board meets every two months with the goal of creating a new child protection guideline that incorporates the perspectives of all participants in sport, making the sporting world safer for children. More information: Hintalovon Foundation \u2013 NEMECSEK Sport<\/span><\/p>\n

MARIO \u2013 Football3 for Democratic Participation (Minority Rights Group International)<\/b> Duration: 2024.02.01 \u2013 2024.11.30<\/span><\/i> Minority Rights Group (MRG) campaigns worldwide with more than 150 partners in over 50 countries to ensure that disadvantaged minorities \u2013 often the poorest of the poor \u2013 can make their voices heard. MRG supports grassroots civil organizations representing vulnerable minority groups, such as Oltalom Sports Association, to protect and promote minority rights and raise awareness of the EU\u2019s fundamental rights and values.<\/span><\/p>\n

DIALECT 2<\/b> Duration: 2022.06.01 \u2013 2024.10.31<\/span><\/i> DIALECT 2 (<\/span>Combating youth raDIcalizAtion: Building communities of toLEranCe combining fooTball with media and digital literacy<\/span><\/i>) builds on a group of adolescents who were taught the importance of acceptance and solidarity through football.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project goes further, setting a dual goal: combining the power of sport \u2013 especially football \u2013 with media literacy. In today\u2019s world, where the proliferation of mass and social media makes critical thinking and self\u2011definition more necessary than ever, adolescents\u2019 identity formation overlaps with both offline and online interactions. This need was highlighted during the pandemic as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project aims to train adolescents, football3 mediators, and coaches in related fields so that young people can make informed decisions, break existing stereotypes (e.g., female and disabled athletes), and respond to social challenges by confronting intolerant beliefs and attitudes both on and off the pitch.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the long term, these informed adolescents will act as agents of change against community\u2011level manifestations of racism and xenophobia, strengthening their resilience.<\/span><\/p>\n
