In addition to domestic championships, international tournaments are a vital part of our professional program. Foreign trips and world competitions not only provide the greatest motivational force for our athletes throughout the year but also create lifelong memories and inspiration.<\/span><\/p>\n The world\u2019s largest international grassroots tournament is the <\/span>Homeless World Cup<\/b>, in which we have participated every year since 2005.<\/span><\/p>\n Tournaments we have taken part in so far:<\/b><\/p>\n Foreign trips and world competitions not only provide the greatest motivational force for our athletes throughout the year but also create lifelong memories and inspiration.<\/span><\/p>\n Streetfootballworld Festival<\/b> As part of the 2019 Women\u2019s World Cup, the Streetfootballworld Festival was held in Lyon, with 48 delegations from 35 countries represented \u2013 including our players and young leaders. The main goal of the event was to strengthen football\u2019s role in achieving gender equality and supporting disadvantaged youth. Alongside the tournament, numerous exciting side programs were organized: each nationality presented its own culture, participants attended workshops and lectures on various topics, and they also had the chance to watch one of the Women\u2019s World Cup semifinals.<\/span><\/p>\n Poldi\u2019s Eleven<\/b> The Lukas Podolski Foundation and RheinFlanke organized the Poldi\u2019s Eleven tournament for the second time in 2019, where we were represented by six players and one young leader. During the three\u2011day championship, our young athletes played in mixed teams under the football3 system, showcasing who was the fairest player, while the young leaders jointly established the optional rules. We were especially proud that two Hungarian players were part of the most sportsmanlike mixed\u2011nationality team.<\/span><\/p>\n Wroclaw Cup<\/b> In 2019, the Wroclaw Cup was held for the eleventh time in Solny Square, where we have been regular guests thanks to our Polish friends. The two\u2011day street football tournament is always organized before the Homeless World Cup, using the same rules as the world competition, allowing teams of different nationalities to prepare together for the big event.
